Description
Did you know that there have been 27 versions of the American flag? Also, the colors red, white and blue were chosen very purposefully to represent different things. Red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. The current US flag is the one that has lasted the longest since no states have been added to the union since 1959. In this activity, the participant will make a painted version of the flag using bubble wrap stamps.
