Description

Most birds build nests using natural materials such as grass, leaves, mud, lichen, fur and human materials such as yarn, paper and plastic. Some birds, such as Bald Eagles, build nests that are strong and use them year after year. The purpose of the bird's nest is to create a tidy home for their eggs and babies. In this activity the participant will use natural and human materials to build a nest for a bird and its eggs.
