Description
Sailboat racing takes many forms. There are countless types of sailboats and nearly unlimited environments in which to sail. For many people across the world, sailboat racing is an engaging, dynamic, and thrilling sport! The racing of boats first started in Holland before being introduced in England and America in the 17th century. Since then, yacht clubs and marine institutions have organized all sorts of competitions for social and recreational purposes. In this activity the participant will build a sailboat of their own to race!
