Mandy’s background in education, and passion for creating meaningful connections, began in rural Oregon teaching a diverse group of learners including many students receiving ELL services and living in poverty. In 2004, she took her first principal position in a school deeply impacted by poverty, language barriers and incarcerated family members.
In 2005, Mandy returned to her home town of Overland Park, KS as an elementary principal, opening the district’s first center-based program for ELL students. She served as a principal in two districts over the next 8 years before turning her talents toward senior living.
After 9 years as an award-winning entrepreneur in senior living, Mandy is now applying her expertise and experience in both settings with the offering of Connectivities.
